Description of the facility

The structure of the logistics building consists entirely of BREMER precast reinforced concrete elements. The approx. 4 m high outer bases are also realised in precast reinforced concrete elements (3-layer sandwich slabs), lined on the outside with smooth fair-faced concrete. Above the base, the outer facade consists of insulated panels. The storage facility is divided into a bulk storage area, high bay store, cold store, deep-freeze store and waste disposal zone. The distribution warehouse is adjoined by an administrative building.

Special features

This is the first distribution centre that BREMER has realised for Lidl outside Germany. The entire structure is founded on approx. 10 m long reinforced concrete driven piles. Like a large table top, the reinforced concrete hall base is similarly founded on 5,000 piles.
