H&M distribution centre

The Hennes und Mauritz B.V. & Co. KG distribution centre for the sales areas Germany, Eastern Switzerland and Slovenia is situated at Rungedamm 38 in Hamburg's Allermöhe business park. The building occupies an area of around 78,000 sqm on the site and has a gross floor area of approx. 117,000 sqm, which can be extended by a further 20,500 sqm to a total of approx. 146,000 sqm. The floor slab is reinforced throughout in two layers. A total of 25,000 sqm of floor space in the building is fitted with underfloor heating. The distribution centre is divided into an approx. 80,000 sqm three-storey production area, an approx. 27,000 sqm high-bay warehouse with order preparation facilities and an administration building with social areas and a large canteen. The building services of this facility are state-of-the-art. The air-conditioning system, for example, has the capacity to replace a million cubic metres of air an hour in the rooms throughout the building.
