The office building consists of 4 office floors and a 2-storey structure connecting it to the warehouse. From floor slab upwards, the entire building consists of precast reinforced concrete elements. The facade is realised with aluminium strip windows and a ventilated fibre cement facade. The building is accessed by a central stairwell core with elevator. The warehouse also consists of precast reinforced concrete elements with a central row of columns. The facade is realised partly with concrete sandwich elements and partly with a metal cassette facade.
Heating for the facility is provided by a brine/water heat pump and cooling by a plate exchanger. The entire office building benefits additionally from a mechanical ventilation system.
This is the third construction project that BREMER has undertaken for Panalpina Welttransport GmbH.
What is special about this building are the building services. Heating and cooling for the office complex and ground heating for the warehouse are provided entirely by geothermal energy tapped by groundwater extraction.
