Heinrich Schmid engaged BREMER to construct two new office buildings for this project, realised as precast reinforced concrete element structures. The office buildings' facades feature aluminium strip windows and an external thermal insulation composite system and the stairwell area is a post and beam construction. The entire roof is greened, providing a visual highlight. Office building 1 has a total of 5 storeys and a basement. Office building 2 has 6 storeys. On the ground floor are training rooms and showrooms that can be varied in size.
The hall consists of a cold hall warehouse, waste disposal area and social facilities. One part of the hall has an integrated 155 m² gallery level.
The exterior facilities of the site include around 200 parking spaces.
BREMER has been contracted for the first time to undertake a construction project for Malerwerkstätten Heinrich Schmid GmbH & Co. KG. BREMER will use geothermal probes for this project, sunk to a depth of around 150 m. The climate friendly solution will meet the heating and cooling needs of the entire complex. The buildings are designed with cavity floors which offer ample space below floor level for IT installations, electrical wiring, etc. A mains water supply line runs across the construction site. The all-glass lifts installed in all of the office buildings are a distinctive feature.
