Vinnemeier logistics centre

Wholesaler Vinnemeier is building a central warehouse with 20,000 sqm of land and 25,000 sqm of usable space on Langenberger Strasse in Rietberg. The halls, which have an internal column grid of 12 x 24, are separated in the middle by a fire wall. The hall has a headroom of approx. 10.20 m. The main entrance includes a staircase and lift shaft and is located close to the central fire wall. The entrance is accentuated by a porch which also connects to the mezzanine areas behind. The mezzanine areas are arranged in two floors over the entire width of the hall which is 192 wide and 14 m deep. The lower floor is used as a storage floor with a useful load of qk = 20 KN/m². Pre-stressed TT slabs are used for this purpose. Due to the lower load on the office floor above, prestressed concrete hollow core slabs can be used for the floor system.
